Notes for Philadelphia “Delphia” Garrison
In the meantime, a quick note — Delphia is Alexander’s sister. In his War of 1812 pension papers he mentions his sister and that she “married a man named Murray” and Delphia married Michael Murray. He also mentions that they didn’t stay together, and Mr Murray destroyed Alexander’s military discharge papers.

Alexander’s lawyer also calls him “an old scamp” in one of his letters, ha ha! Must have been a character...
