Notes for Ann Jane Garrison
I was searching on the children of Solomon Orms and Ann Jane Garrison. We know that they married in May 1828 in Mason County, with the bondsman being William Mitchell.

We have Ann/Jane pegged as a sister of Alexander/daughter of George, but I don’t think we had any supporting evidence. I found some, at least to rule her out of being part of one of the other Garrison clans in the area.

Note that Ann’s older brother, Alexander, was living in Ann’s son’s, Mason’s, home in 1860. (Proof that Ann was daugther of George Garrison and Eleanor “Nellie” Bridwell)

Solomon and Ann/Jane had a daughter named Matilda, who seems to have been married three times (!). Her first marriage took place when she was 17, and I just dug up the marriage certificate. It states that her father was born in Montgomery Co, MD (I think we already established that the Orms family came from Maryland), and her mother was born STAFFORD COUNTY VA. From H.O.
