I do not believe Callie McNutt’s parents are Thomas McNutt and (Orlena) Brown as shown in Callie’s death certificate. Thomas appears to have died between 1860 and 1870 in Lawrence County, Arkansas; Orlena is HOH in the 1870 census. Callie would be about 8 years old and would be with her mother in the 1880 Denton County, Texas census. With Thomas desceased 1860-1870 and not living with Orlena in the 1880 census, Thomas and Orlena do not appear to be her parents.
