Notes for Joel Patton
can’t find anything on Joel after 1850. I have an indenture,.. I believe is what it is... of some kind of land deal or monies owed to Richard Stone that was to be paid back in Jan 1851 but then he disappears and his wife gets up and moves back to Fauquier with her kids. I can’t find any death dates for Joel or Asenith or where they are buried. I have a few papers from a family bible that says that they are somewhere in Weaveresville, in a little village called St. Stephens. I went to the old church out on 605, Dumfries Road where supposedly they were buried, I went down through Weaverville towards Catlett, can’t find anything.
Notes for Asenith “Cecelia” “Sinie” (Spouse 1)
I'm not sure but I think we may be looking for the same line of "Embrey's" The last I got on there was an "Embrey Book" floating around, does anyone know about this? I am also looking for the "Embrey" grave yard on "17" in Fauquier County???!!!
I have a few things on the family that was handed down to me from a letter written by "Ida Frances Patton Manuel" on September 28th 1929

Asenith or aka "Sinie" and "Ceney" is my 4th great on my mothers side. In her letter she writes: "To the union of Joel and Asenith Embrey Patton were born ten children: John William Patton, eldest: Maria Louise Patton: Joseph Thompson Patton ( Cousin Ida's father"): Susan Jane Patton (died a young girl):Julia Ann Patton ( died a young girl): Ludweel Fitzhugh Patton: Robert Patton (died a child): Elizabeth Diggs Patton: Dudley Fitzhugh Patton ( was killed at Gettysburg)"

I have found the Manuel/Patton Cemetery where Asenith and Joel Patton are buried
