A son of Gustavus and Ann Peyton Limbrick, Charles Peyton William Limbrick, stated (per the 1866 newspaper account) that Gustavus 1797 Limbrick and his wife, Ann Nancy Peyton, were both brutally murdered in 1866 (3 Aug 1866) by John T Roberson, son of John Roberson and Maria LeBrun Rogers.
