The 30th Infantry Regiment completed its organization at Fredericksburg, Virginia, in June, 1861. Men of this unit were from Fredericksburg and the counties of Spotsylvania, Caroline, Stafford, and King George.
Notes for Ann Eliza (Spouse 1)
It appears that Ann Eliza remarried after her husband, James, died. She shows in the 1900 Washington DC census as Eliza “Gruver” and as widowed, meaning her second husband must have died too.
