Re: Sarah L B Shackelford.. have not seen middle initials, L B, in other records. I believe this may be Sarah A Mountjoy (also in this database) who married James R C Shackelford who died before 1870 making Sarah a widow when she married Henry Lumpkin in 1874. Sarah’s age is not consistant in various records, 1833-1840. In any case, Sarah died or divorced Henry as he married Charlotte Curtis Shackelford sometime between 1774 and 1880. Interestingly, Charlotte Curtis married John A 1823 Shackelford in 1853; John also died before 1870. This also raises the question… Could Charlott and Sarah L B be the same person?
