Evelyn Emma Via, 97, of Charlottesville died Wednesday June 11, 2008 in a local health care facility.
Born in Blackwells Hollow, Va on March 11, 1911 she was the daughter of the Samuel and Mary Garrison and was the wife of the late Henry A. Via. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmie Garrison, Carl Garrison, Johnnie Garrison, Steward Garrison, her twin brother-Earl Garrison, Earnest Garrison, her sisters, Eva Via, Myrtie Garrison, Lula Via, Ruby Coleman.
Mrs. Via is survived by her brother, Morgan Garrison of Crozet, and by her devoted sister, Christine Ward of Charlottesville and many nieces and nephews.
