Homer Lee “Sonny” Garrison, Jr., 63, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center, Martinsburg. Born February 18, 1948 in Marshall, VA, he was the son of Martha Garrison of Amissville, VA and the late Homer L. Garrison, Sr. He served in the US Army as a staff sergeant during Vietnam, where he received two Purple Hearts and The Bronze Star. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 120 in Martinsburg, and also a member of the Woodbriar Golf Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Susan (Castle) Garrison; three sons, Homer L. “Bunny” Garrison, III and William J.V. “Jamie” Garrison, both of Amissville, VA, and Dylan K. Garrison of Martinsburg, WV; three sisters, Lorraine Early of Amissville, VA, Joyce Shaw of Stafford, VA, and Betty Moore of Strasburg, VA; two brothers, Arthur and Tommy Garrison, both of Amissville, VA. He is also survived by three grandsons, Fletcher J. King, Jaxon V. King, and Ethan W. William
