I have Alice (50) living with Selden B in 1850 (I assume his mother) and apparently next door in 1860. Also a Maria (her sister or husband/s sister??).

In 1850, also a Levinia, and a William Payne, 19 and 20 respectively -- sister to Selden and brother in law??) In 1860, Alice is living with Levinia (now 27??) and Thomas (8) and Alice (2) -- children of Levinia?? William Payne left or died??

No mention of father Selden. Selden siblings seem to be William Rowzee, Levinia, John Monacure??

Can't get back further than 1850., so any help would be appreciated.

Some mention of Selden as a family name of Adam Raines (m Mehethelem, 1793, d 1810).

Maria listed as unmarried daughter of Adam, and possible father of John M and Rowzee, but Alice's age seems more appropriate?? any help is appreciated from any source!!
