I did find a death certificate for James Bernard Mountjoy and it indeed shows that his parents were Henry Mountjoy and Mary Garrison.
A further search yielded a marriage announcement for James Bernard’s daughter Daisy. The article notes that Daisy’s only attendant was Miss Nellie Mason Garrison, “a cousin”. After consulting my tree, it seems Nellie is the granddaughter of James Sanford Garrison, who I think we’ve pegged as one of Yelverton’s children.
