“Am looking for information on James Shackelford (b. 1800, d. 1841) married to Elizabeth Garrison in 1819 (b. 1799, d. 1850). He had a daughter Betsy (Elizabeth?) who apparently married a Garrison. Betsy Garrison had a daughter named Maggie Hagner who at one time lived in Baltimore. This information was found in a family Bible that recently came into my possession. Other names in the Bible were Grigsby Metzker, Sara Garrison, Mrs. Lathrop, Lucinda Terry, Sarah Metzger, Mrs. Jenkins. Other children of James and Elizabeth are Harriet, Edward, Dicy, James, Eliza Ann, Sarah and William. Any information will be appreciated.” C.S.E.
